AFFLICTION & DESPAIR Punishment • Correction • Consequence This service is for those dealing with a cold, self-centered individual—someone who cares only for themselves and must be forced, through their own suffering, to reflect on the arrogance they have shown others. Through baneful work, the individual is targeted through the affliction of illness and an inability to care for themselves. They will feel the sting of desolation and despair as they come to the realization that no one is coming to save them. Guilt is then added to this working so the target feels the heavy weight of their selfish behavior upon their shoulders. As they wallow in self-pity, others begin to recognize their insensitivity and self-centeredness, turning away from them and destroying their ego.
